{"id":34,"date":"2014-05-17T18:26:04","date_gmt":"2014-05-17T22:26:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sundogwalks.ca\/?page_id=34"},"modified":"2018-08-22T14:40:29","modified_gmt":"2018-08-22T18:40:29","slug":"team","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sundogpetservices.ca\/wordpress\/index.php\/about-us\/team\/","title":{"rendered":"Team and Mascots"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Scott &#8211; Chief Arficer<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">My first dog as an adult came in 2001.\u00a0 Fezzik took various training classes starting off with Positive methods and found them enjoyable and productive.\u00a0 We took obedience classes (both &#8220;life&#8221; skills and formal) as well as some agility.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2005 found me working for another company as a Dog Walker.<a href=\"http:\/\/sundogpetservices.ca\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Friendship-A.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-112 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/sundogpetservices.ca\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Friendship-A-267x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"267\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 Soon after that, as a Dog Training Assistant in classes;\u00a0 1 \u00bd years later, I started Instructing classes myself.\u00a0 Currently, I work with two different\u00a0Positive\u00a0based training companies in Toronto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">S\u00f3ley came at the age of 11wks in 2006.\u00a0 I handled her through Confirmation, Agility and\u00a0Rally;\u00a0she acquired both of her championships (UKC and CKC); she achieved her RN (Rally Novice) as well.\u00a0 At the end of 2006, Sundog Pet Services came into existence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">My formal education outside Dog Training involves Science (B.Sc), medicine (EMT-A; Saskatchewan).\u00a0 I&#8217;ve also worked in the construction industry.\u00a0 Currently I am upgrading my education in Dog Training to ensure that I provide the best possible Training and Coaching to my clients;\u00a0 I am enrolled in <a href=\"http:\/\/theacademyfordogtrainers.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Academy for Dog Trainers<\/a>\u00a0(&#8220;<span class=\"st\">The <em>Harvard of<\/em> Dog Trainers<\/span>&#8220;) with Jean Donaldson (author of &#8220;Culture Clash&#8221;).\u00a0 I continue to provide Training and look forward to help bring all Dog Training into the current century.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fezzik &#8211; C. E. Arf (R.I.P little man)<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sundogpetservices.ca\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Fezzik1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-81 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/sundogpetservices.ca\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Fezzik1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Sundog is <em>operated<\/em> in spirit by Fezzik, \u00a0an American Eskimo x Corgi,\u00a0born around 1999. Fezzik&#8217;s favorite activities were napping, rolling in the grass, showing off his tricks, and waiting for his next meal (which he excelled at).<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">S\u00f3ley- Chief Mascot<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">S\u00f3ley, an Icelandic Sheepdog, \u00a0is our mascot ; she was born in 2005.<a href=\"http:\/\/sundogpetservices.ca\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Soley-A1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-97 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/sundogpetservices.ca\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Soley-A1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"113\" \/><\/a> Her favorite activities are running, chasing, and being admired. S\u00f3ley is a hapless flirt with both other dogs and people.\u00a0 She is also an avid ball retriever.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tindra- Barking Enforcement Arf-icer<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sundogpetservices.ca\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Tindra-A.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-14 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/sundogpetservices.ca\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Tindra-A-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Tindra is S\u00f3ley&#8217;s daughter, born in 2007. She has taken on the mantle of warning about every dog she hears and every squirrel she sees.
